That must have been very difficult to write about and remember...all beautifully said but such an anxious story. Glad Zak is in a better place for sure and thank goodness for Ken's flowers.
It was pretty close to the heart, this one, Sally. It came out easy enough, but yes, anxious is the word. Sometimes you look back and you ask, how the hell did we manage to get through that? Thanks for supporting my writing Sally. It means a lot to me.
Oh my goodness. I love this, but I’m so sorry to hear about that horrible time and your son’s/family’s troubles. Thank goodness he climbed of that pit and your family transformed for the better in the end. The flower story and your painting are wonderful. ❤️
Thanks goodness is right, Karen. There were several people who came to my family’s aid, several who we didn’t even know, and if it wasn’t for them, things might have turned out very different than they did. Thanks for reading.
Thank you for your vulnerability and for being the dad that drops everything to fly cross country in order to be there w Zak in the depth of his crisis.
Joy does come in the morning. Your family is living evidence of that. ❤️
We did come out stronger and more tender. Exactly, Holly. Thanks so much for being such an avid reader. I sort of feel proud to have as a reader someone like you, who combines both head and heart the way you do. You keep me writing more than you know!
Beautiful…
Thanks, Barb!

So good Chris! Thanks for the vulnerability and the art. Solace indeed.
You are welcome, Adam, and thank you for reading. I’m becoming a better writer because I have readers like you.
So freaking good. I will always read anything you write.
I'm sorry to hear what you've gone through with your son. It is clear you've come out both stronger and more tender. ❤️❤️

Chris I love the way your words flow heavy laden with thought and at the same time reflect light. Peace to you and yours.
Thanks, K. Your music keeps inspiring me!
Thank you. Hugs!
I mean it. Keep them coming!
I shall :)
